Zikora Productions is a film entertainment company that composes compelling content for multicultural audiences, with special attention given to narratives featuring people of African descent.
We champion tales that highlight underrepresented communities in order for them to gain wider exposure through traditional and non-traditional distribution channels.
Focusing on story first, we take pride in crafting diverse narratives that are engaging, thought-provoking, and entertaining.
Zikora means "show the world" in the Igbo language of Nigeria, West Africa. Our company's intent is to show the world honest, artistic depictions of itself for self-reflection and awareness.
We collaborate with a variety of creatives, strategists, and marketers to execute each project to its full potential. We are proud to have worked with some of the best in the industry as well as skilled, emerging talent.
Leadership
Chike Nwabukwu founded Zikora Productions in 2011 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Executive Creative Producer.
He regularly collaborates with talented writers, directors, editors, producers, and production teams to tell underrepresented stories with high production value.
In 2022, he expanded the Zikora brand to include book publishing, combining the two entities into Zikoa Media Group (ZMG).
Chike was born in Washington, D.C. and is of Nigerian descent. He holds degrees in writing, filmmaking, and business.
